CRC, with the help of your charitable donations, is bringing a practical STEM program to veterans near Tyler, Texas. When veterans return home, they can return a different person than they were when they were deployed. Veterans who develop PTSD and other challenges while overseas can require time to adjust to civilian life. We aim to give those who have served support by offering them the chance to take courses through our STEM program as well as use their skills to build veteran housing on our land. This is a great way for young veterans to help themselves while giving others who have served, a place to call home.
Dedicated to Those Who Have Served
Headed by experts in surveyor work and landscape management, CRC provides a vast campus with a tight-knit community. Throughout our two-year STEM program, veterans have access to architects who will teach them everything, from designing blueprints to the construction process. Once a veteran has completed our program, we can hire them in the future. Of course, the veterans who study with us have many other opportunities available to them as well, including opening up a business of their own.
Qualified veterans will be identified through the Workforce Solutions Office and sent on to us. A service officer will be assigned to assist these veterans with the qualification process. We have just completed our sixth year of working with veterans in conjunction with the Veterans Association in Dallas. It has proven to be a great opportunity for veterans to continue taking part in the betterment of the world from here at home.
Help Us Through Donations
We accept monetary donations that are sent to CRC to help us to educate and build homes for veterans. Rest assured knowing that your donations are going to a worthy cause that will put them to the best possible use. All donations are tax deductible.
